Document #4557, The Guide to PV Equipment Communication Interfaces, was submitted for balloting in October 2008. The PV-EIS Task Force met in March 2009 and resolved all outstanding issues and
approved the ballot. This standard was then approved by the global Photovoltaic
Committee. This edition was approved for publication by the global Audits and
Reviews Subcommittee on May 13, 2009. It became available at www.semi.org in June 2009 and will
be available on CD-ROM in July 2009.
